Newer media doesn’t decay like film does, so copying your home movies, slides and photos will save all your treasured images for years to come. It’s also much more convenient than wrestling with old projectors, broken reels, damaged film, bulky viewing screens and heavy photo albums. This is the highest-quality, state-of-the-art system for do-it-yourself transfers of home movies, slides and photos. It saves you time and effort while it preserves your precious memories. This system is simple to use. For transferring home movies, focus your projector on the built-in mini screen and move the transfer select switch to the “Film/Slides” position. Then place your camcorder next to the built-in pre-focused macro lens, zoom in to crop the image, and record! The projected image passes through the mini-screen to a special mirror, which reflects the image over to the macro lens, where the camcorder records it. For transferring slides, place a slide into the slide-holder, turn on the internal lamp and put the transfer select switch into the “Photos” position. Then place your camcorder (in its macro lens mode) next to the slide-holder, adjust the distance between camcorder and slide to crop the image, and record. Pause the camcorder while you change slides. With this unique method, your camcorder can copy slides directly – the slide is back-lit by a combination of the internal lamp plus another special mirror. For transferring photo, place the photo in the slot of the photo-holder, turn on the internal lamp and put the transfer select switch into the “Photos” position. Then place your camcorder next to the built-in pre-focused macro lens, zoom in to crop the image, and record. Pause the camcorder while you change photos. Your camcorder copies each photo directly; the special internal mirrors are moved out of the way so the photo is in a direct line with the macro lens where your camcorder records it.
